Media Memorial Foundation in Thailand
Provides training in print, radio, photojournalism and television.
Fosters exchanges and funds media activities that will nourish a new generation of journalists.
Founded in 1991 by British war photographer Tim Page in memory of more than 320 journalists of all sides who
died covering conflicts in Indochina.
Based in Bangkok, the gateway to Indochina, the IMMF is spearheaded by journalists with wide
ranging experience and contacts in the region.
Top journalists from some of the world's finest publications and
media organisations teach the
courses.
Funding comes from private
organisations, individuals and government agencies in Australia, Cambodia, Canada,
Denmark, Germany, Japan, Laos, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vietnam,
the United States and the United Nations.
